From a frustrating scratch to a neat finish

I needed Bumper Scuff repair after I noticed a ugly scratch on my car outside Bluewater Shopping Centre, and I quickly found a surprisingly easy solution that worked well.

It happened on a busy afternoon near Maidstone town centre, where I had parked for a short visit. When I came back, there it was, a visible mark along the panel that definitely was not there before, and I felt irritated seeing it.

Later that evening, I started checking reviews for a reliable solution and came across AutoScratch through a search result. Their process seemed straightforward, so I decided to contact them. I sent a few quick snapshots of the damage and got a prompt response with a quote. Booking was hassle free, and we agreed on a practical time.

On the day, the technician arrived right on schedule and gave the area a thorough inspection before starting. First, he cleaned the surface to remove any grime, then moved on to sanding the scratch to smooth it out. Since the damage was slightly deeper than it looked, he applied a small amount of filler and allowed it to harden. After that came the part I was most curious about, colour matching. He carefully mixed and tested until it blended with the existing paint, which was quite satisfying to watch. The paint was then applied in layers and blended into the surrounding area so it would not stand out. Finally, the section was polished to bring back the shine, leaving it looking refreshed. The whole process felt professionally handled and did not take as long as I had expected.

Once everything was read more done, I stepped back to check the result and honestly had to look closely to find where the scratch had been. The finish looked natural with the rest of the car, and the whole panel had a even shine again. I appreciated how efficient the experience was, especially not having to visit a workshop or leave my car somewhere for days. That said, I could tell this kind of service is best suited for small scratches rather than anything too extensive. Still, for what I needed, it felt like a worthwhile solution that saved me both time and effort, and I drove away feeling much better about how my car looked again.
